2015 Burberry Festive Film

As celebration to the 15th Anniversary of the British film Billy Elliot, Burberry has used the iconic movie as inspiration for their 2015 festive film.

Julia Walters and Elton John, both having links with Billy Elliot, are featured in the short advertisement in which they are jumping in front of the camera, giving us their best mid-air poses. Joining Walters and John seemed to be just about every British celebrity, including musicians James Bay and George Ezra, Romeo Beckham returning for his third campaign with Burberry, models Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, as well as her brother Toby, Naomi Campbell, comedian James Corden and actress Michelle Dockery.

The entire campaign was full of Burberry touches with gold glitter surrounding the celebrities, some wore the iconic checkered scarfs monogrammed with their initials, seasonal trench coats and stunning dresses from the most recent Prorsum collection. The film was shot by Mario Testino in which a series a still images go along side the campaign featuring Romeo, Rosie, James and Naomi, which can be seen displayed outside Burberry's 121 Regent St. store.

£500,000 has been donated by Burberry in appreciation of each participant, to two charities which help young people in the North of England, Easington where Billy Elliot was filmed.

Below is the full film by Burberry as well as the images used for the campaign.
